Vince Yoshida was born in Greenwood, B.C. but later moved to Vancouver where he attended Gladstone Secondary, then UBC. There he attained a B.Sc. in Biochemistry before graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Upon graduation, he opened his dental practice in the East Vancouver Medical building where he remains today. He has maintained many familiar faces on staff over the years and has expanded his practice with extended services and equipment. These include digital x-rays, panoramic radiographs, intra-oral photography, Cerec computer technology to fabricate crowns and the latest in implantology equipment. Dr. Yoshida is very physically active, having trained and competed in triathlons with the North Shore and the Pacific Spirit triathlon clubs and cycling the GranFondo. More recently he has also taken up ice hockey and is a regular player on two different men’s leagues.
Dr. Yoshida is constantly expanding his knowledge in dentistry with the many study clubs and numerous continuing education courses that he attends, including many on dental implants. This has enabled Dr. Yoshida to make implant dentistry a significant component of his practice, enabling him to meet the growing need for implants. He recently was bestowed with Fellowship and Diplomate status by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the latter designation being the most accomplished in the society.
Dr. Yoshida enjoys the constantly-changing field of dentistry and looks forward to coming to work each day. He plans on being in practice for many years to come and welcomes all new patients to drop by and meet the wonderful staff that makes this office such a pleasant place to work and have your dental treatment done.
